Jennifer and Robert (Glasson Lakehouse / Ireland)

Jennifer and Robert first met as Childhood friends - “We lived around the corner from each other growing up and spent summer days playing games with our friends on the green”.

Having not seen each other in a few years- It was a Christmas Eve party in 2009 that sealed their fate when Robert asked Jennifer for her number. Their first date was arranged over the snowy Christmas holidays. Speaks flew and and they quickly realised they made the perfect blend together.

A proposal came 8 years later under twinkling Christmas lights in the heart of Dublin City, the most perfect setting. They had so much fun spending weekends looking at wedding venues but couldn’t find the perfect one.

In the years that followed they continued to make amazing memories together with their greatest blessing - a beautiful baby girl called Chloe arriving into their lives in 2019. Their love story only grew with their hearts more full.

In December 2021 they decided to go back and look at the first ever wedding venue they had viewed in 2018 - Glasson Lakehouse, which had undergone a stunning transformation and immediately knew this was the one. Jennifer and Robert were lucky enough to obtain a wedding date for 4 months later and quickly got to work organising a beautiful celebration.

Their day was perfect- The smell of summer, the sweetness of sunshine and the joy of celebrating with loved ones was the cherry on top of their romantic love story.

As they say “Make laughter the soundtrack of your marriage” and Robert and Jennifer certainly do.

Laughter has always been at the core of this relationship and everyday is full of sweet jokes, smiles and lots of fun.
