Gráinne and Stephen celebrated their wedding at Tankardstown House near Slane, Co. Meath – a beautiful country house estate known for its walled gardens, yew trees and elegant interiors. Their day was full of champagne, laughter and family, and ended with a sparkler send-off under glowing lanterns.

Getting ready
Gráinne got ready at Boyne House in Slane with her bridesmaids and family – matching satin robes, a champagne toast on the bed and plenty of laughter, while her hair was set in rollers for those classic Hollywood waves. The finishing touches were statement pearl earrings and an off-the-shoulder gown.
Stephen had a quieter morning: dressing in a black tuxedo, helping a little guest with his shirt buttons and taking a moment alone to read a letter before the ceremony.
The ceremony
In the church, the warm smiles at the altar as Gráinne joined Stephen said it all. A short while later the newlyweds walked back down the aisle as husband and wife, surrounded by cheering family and friends.
Portraits in the gardens of Tankardstown House
Back at Tankardstown, we took a few quiet minutes for portraits along the paths of the walled gardens – framed by the old yew trees, stone urns and the little garden pavilion.

The celebrations continued inside the house with dinner, speeches and dancing to a live band.
A sparkler send-off
To finish the night, family and friends lined the garden path with sparklers under glowing lantern lights – one of our favourite moments of the whole day.
